Top 100 Realtor Jack Tyrrell and his Team at the public sale launch event for Howard Hughes Corporation’s New Luxury Condos -- Waiea and Anaha.
FRIDAY, January 31
2:30 a.m. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser runs the Developer’s “big ad”: The public sale event will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1. Thirty hours to go!
9:00 a.m. The Developer asks each person in line to complete a client registration form and provides a numbered token. After all of our Team members received tokens for our clients, we were treated to a fabulous continental breakfast and live entertainment.
12:30 p.m. Lunch is provided.
1:30 p.m. Appointment days and times are scheduled.
3:30 p.m. - Jack and the Team call it a day!
Our thoughts of the experience over the past 24 hours:
History begins at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2014
THURSDAY, January 30
3:00 p.m. Jack notices that tents are being set up at the IBM building, so he immediately gathers his team members to get in line. It is not known exactly when the Developer’s “big ad” would run in the newspaper signaling the official launch of the public sale of owner-occupant units. Would it be in a day? Three days? A week? The one thing we were absolutely sure of: We need to be in line.
6:30 p.m. Our Team is impressed by the Developer’s thoughtfulness for the people in line: Pizzas, sushi, and water were provided.
